From the perspective of a junior faculty member at a small liberal arts college, I will speak to the graduate students in the audience about keeping their future in mind as they work through the daily stresses of graduate school. There are many small things that graduate students can do throughout their graduate careers that will help them when they reach their final year and begin the job search. There are many different paths to professional success and I will share some of my personal experiences and insights from my own journey through graduate school and the beginning stages of my career.
