Abstract
This talk will be a brief survey of the progress made towards classifying AS-regular algebras. The focus will be on geometric tools and using certain AS-regular algebras that exhibit a tight connection between their algebraic and homological properties and geometric data. Most of the talk should be accessible to junior researchers.
