Dan-Virgil Voiculescu - University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) Using the Ando order there is a max of noncommutative random variables, that has provided the basis for analogues of extreme value notions in free probability, bi-free probability and Boolean probability. I will discuss results and a few problems in this area.
