Abstract
*Also affiliated with Beijing Computational Science Research Center Collective dynamics of active matter systems has revealed a plethora of patterns in Cartesian space, especially, in 2D space. However, many active matter systems in reality involves motions of active particles/molecules on a surface either prescribed or free. In this talk, I will discuss a set of numerical experiments generated by a set of stochastic differential equations subject to Ornstein-Uhlenbeck disturbances. We show how the substrate morphology can affect the collective dynamics of an active particle system on a prescribed surface.
