In the past decade, big data has exploded onto the scene within the atmospheric science community. With advancements in computing technology and knowledge facilitating the development of high-resolution model simulations and observational analyses, a number of data sets exist for researchers within and outside this field of study. This talk will discuss ways that big data are being integrated into projects that bridge the weather, climate, and agricultural communities.
