Lefschetz fibrations and SL_2-connections Paul Seidel Massachusetts Institute of Technology When applied to Lefschetz fibrations, Floer cohomology leads to a sequence of invariants forming a complicated and a priori unintuitive algebraic structure. I will explain how to approach that structure systematically, using a suitable TQFT coupled with connections.
